thesetoo: In 2008, a fire swept through the Parisian taxidermy shop Deyrolle, and nearly 90 percent its menagerie was destroyed. Photographer Laurent Bochet shot more than 300 images of the charred collection, and his devastatingly beautiful photos were later released in the book, 1000° C.
